🌿 General Information

The competitive environment of Vanaheim is carefully designed to offer a balanced and fair experience between players, without interfering with PvM content. Behaviors and mechanics are unified across all maps with active competition (PvP, Battlegrounds, and War of Emperium), ensuring consistency in:

  • Damage
  • Resistances
  • Modified skills
  • Equipment and consumables

These are the general rules that apply when entering a competitive map:

  • 💥 Physical damage (ranged and melee) is reduced by 20% (only 80% applies).
  • 🔥 All skills have a base reduction of 60%, before applying individual adjustments. → See Skills Modificadas en Competitivo.
  • 🌀 Flee (and P.Dodge) is reduced by 50%.
  • 🛡️ Only Competitive Gears are enabled (exclusive competitive equipment).
  • 🧪 Only Items de Competitivo (Consumibles y catalizadores) are allowed.
  • 🚫 All external states (buffs) are removed, except those from class skills or allowed consumables.
  • ♻️ Current AP is reset to 0 upon entering (existing AP buffs remain).
  • 🪨 All characters automatically gain permanent Endure.
  • 📊 You can check special stats with @bgstats and @woestats.
  • 💊 You receive a permanent Buff while inside these maps. This buff grants: HP/SP +10%, RES/MRES +20, Gain 3 AP per second passively.

⚔️ How Does the Competitive System Work?

Vanaheim features a competitive environment completely separated from PvM, allowing exclusive changes, adjustments, and systems without affecting the normal game content.

For example: > If one day we decide that *Fire Ball* should deal 5000% more damage with a fixed cast of 3 seconds, this change will be exclusive to PvP/BG/WoE, without affecting PvM at all.

Another pillar of balance is the implementation of competitive equipment and items:

  • 🎽 Competitive Gears are used exclusively and only function in PvP/BG/WoE maps.
  • ⚗️ All job items (Runes, Acids, Poisons, Potions, etc.) have their **[Battle]** version, which you can purchase directly.
 * Example: *[Battle] Lux Anima*, *[Battle] EDP*.

These versions ensure fair and separate farming, without depending on the traditional crafting or PvM farming systems.


🧠 MetaGame and Dynamic Balance

All modifications to skills, items, or stats will be recorded in Registro de Cambios (Competitivo), aiming to maintain a fair, fun, and constantly evolving environment.
